LEADERSHIP
Steve Dreyer - President
Steve graduated in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, after growing up as one of eight children in Cincinnati. He co-oped with Procter & Gamble throughout college and joined them full time at graduation to design production equipment to make baby diapers and other converted products.
Using this knowledge, Steve and his brother Ron started Bag-Pack in 1988, essentially as a start-up.Bag-Pack has seen steady growth since in poly bags, bank security bag and pouch converting.
Steve and Sharon have three children and live in Cincinnati. Steve has volunteered as a math coach for middle school children for many years and served on St. Ursula Academy’s Board of Trustees, ending as its Chairman in 2012-2014. He is an avid runner and enjoys the outdoors.
Ron Dreyer - Vice President, Manufacturing
Ron graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He participated in UC’s co-op program, working in Plant Engineering at Emery Industries’ Cincinnati Fatty Acids plant. Upon graduation, he joined Fibreglas-Evercoat, a leading manufacturer of automotive/marine body filler.
Ron progressed steadily at Fibreglas Evercoat from Plant Engineer, to Plant Manager, to Vice President of Manufacturing, responsible for 3 manufacturing plants. He was a partner in the start-up of Bag-Pack in 1988 and joined the company in 1996 as Vice President of Manufacturing. He has since guided the development of the physical plant and the overall business.
Ron and Patti have three children and live in Cincinnati. Ron has been active in his church; leading the community festival, starting a German Octoberfest and sitting on the Finance Committee. Ron enjoys local high school and college football, listening to music and celebrating life.
